I found 4 cents in the faculty lounge today. That's $2.81, and during my period 2 today. Anyway, they witnessed the collection of 40 cents in the form of 1 quarter, 2 nickels, and 5 pennies. That makes my pennies from heaven total...$3.21.
If I can replicate that 10,000 times, I can buy my Avalanche.

Wasting Money
Over the weekend, I walked into a CVS, and there was a panhandler asking for change outside the store. I didn't have any money on me, so I didn't give him any change. I spent some time in the store, and when I came out, the panhandler was gone. Where he was sitting, I saw a pile of pennies. There must have been fifty pennies there on the ground, and the panhandler was gone!
Needless to say, this aggravated me. He had just been asking for change, and then he leaves a bunch of pennies behind. What a waste of money! Pennies are still money, and anybody who is truly in need should understand the value of a penny. To sit outside a store and ask for money, only to leave behind a pile of change is wasteful and ridiculous.
It's like the time somebody stole all the change from my car...well, they almost stole all the change from my car. They probably got away with seventy-five cents in silver coins, but they left behind another fifty cents in pennies. Robbery, burglary...whatever you want to call it, if you're stealing because you need it, you shouldn't be TOO GOOD for pennies.

So, it's still early, but I have found four cents today. Strickler dropped 3 pennies on the floor in the faculty lounge, and after school, I found one penny under my desk.
So, my total is $1.99.
I haven't quite decided what I'm going to do with all this money, but I do hope to prove the old saying, "Take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves."
We'll see how effective that can be.

After mandatory X, I found 90 cents on the ground.
That brings the total to 1.05 + .90= $1.95!
Almost two dollars in two days of blogging is not bad at all!

today I found two pennies already before noon! One of them was behind a desk in the classroom, and I had to sail over the desk to grab it. Another one was smack-dab in the middle of my walkway. I grabbed that, too.
My total is now 6 cents.

I found a penny on the floor of the faculty lounge today. Well, I didn't so much find it as Mr. Ryan threw it onto the ground after I told him about this blog.
That brings my total to 4 cents.
